Split and download
Keep it as one PDF, or tick Each page as a separate file to get a ZIP with one PDF per page.
Extract a few pages vs. burst every page
To pull a signature page or one chapter out of a long document, select just those pages and download a single new PDF with only them.
To break a merged batch back into its parts — for example a scanner that saved 30 receipts as one file — use Each page as a separate file and you get 30 individual PDFs in one ZIP.
How the range box works
Type page numbers separated by commas and use a hyphen for a run: 2, 5-9, 14. Pages come out in the document’s own order regardless of how you type the range, and a page listed twice is only included once.
The range box and the page cards stay in sync — typing a range ticks the matching cards, and clicking cards updates the count.
Nothing leaves your browser
Splitting uses pdf-lib to copy the chosen pages into a fresh PDF, all inside the tab. The original file is never uploaded, so a bank statement or a medical form stays on your device.
Text, vector graphics and image quality are copied exactly — splitting does not re-compress anything, so extracted pages are identical to the source.
Questions
Is my PDF uploaded to split it?
No. Pages are copied in your browser with pdf-lib. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can I extract non-consecutive pages?
Yes. Type a range like 1, 4, 9-11 or tick individual page cards. They are combined into one new PDF.
How do I get one file per page?
Turn on Each page as a separate file before splitting. You receive a ZIP with one PDF per page.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied exactly — text stays selectable and images are not re-compressed.
Is there a page limit?
No fixed limit. Very large PDFs just take longer to render the preview cards.
