Paste your menu link
The URL of your menu page, a PDF, a Google Drive link — anything a phone browser can open. Pick the URL type.
- 02
Brand it
Drop your logo into the centre, set your colours, and add a Banner frame with “Scan for the menu”. Raise error correction to High so the logo does not stop it scanning.

Download and print
PNG for a quick table card, SVG for large posters and menus that get reprinted. Test it with a phone camera before you send it to print.
Static codes do not expire
The code made here is static: your menu link is encoded directly in the pattern. There is no redirect service in the middle that can go down, start charging, or expire after a trial.
The one thing to keep stable is the link itself. Use a permanent URL you control — yoursite.com/menu — rather than a share link that might change, and you can update the menu behind it forever without reprinting the code.
Making it scan reliably on a table
Print it at least 3 cm across for a table card, larger for a wall. Keep the quiet margin — the empty border — intact; cropping it in tight is the most common reason a code will not scan.
Dark code on a light background, with real contrast. A subtle logo tint is fine; a low-contrast “designer” code that matches the tablecloth will frustrate half your guests.
One code or one per table
For a single menu, one code is all you need — print it on every card. If you want to send each table to a different link (order pages, table numbers), open Batch in the generator and paste one line per table to get a labelled sheet.
A short caption under the code measurably lifts how many people actually scan it. “Scan for the menu” beats a bare square.
Questions
Does the menu QR code expire?
No. It is a static code — the link is in the pattern itself. There is no redirect that can lapse, so a printed code keeps working.
Can I update the menu without a new code?
Yes, as long as the link stays the same. Point the code at a permanent URL you control and change the menu behind it freely.
Can I add my restaurant’s logo?
Yes. Drop it into the centre and raise error correction to High so the code still scans with the logo in place.
What size should I print it?
At least 3 cm across for a table card, bigger for a poster, and keep the empty border around it.
Is it really free with no sign-up?
Yes. No account, no watermark, no limit, and the code is yours to print anywhere.
